Hello! I was wondering this: What are some good Dutch-languages news sources? I was wondering so I could not only practice reading and speaking Dutch, but also get another perspective of the world.

There's a talk show called "Zondag met Lubach", most of the episodes are available on Youtube, and many, but not all, have proper Dutch subtitles (i.e. not auto-generated).

I had to completely rewrite this post after xipetotec's reply. I stand corrected, apparently comedy is more useful and enjoyable for language learners than I expected. So feel free to do what xipetotec did and give it a try. I definitely would recommend "Zondag met Lubach" even if you don't get all the jokes. :)

Well it is entertaining and I find it not too hard to understand, for the most part. Of course at this stage I have to mostly read the subtitles and constantly pause to check the dictionary, but I do get a good laugh periodically.

Looking forward to understand enough of spoken language to watch Toren C (sadly no subtitles there ;))

Ok good to know, I just edited my previous post into something more positive. BTW if you like comedy, you probably also like "Komt een man bij de dokter" and its sequel "Komt een Belg bij de dokter" which are jokes acted out. BTW in Dutch jokes Belgians/Flemish are stereotyped as very stupid, in Flemish jokes the Dutch are stereotyped as greedy, arrogant and overly confident. Luckily we speak the same language and share a lot of culture and values, so we're happy to be neighbours. :)
