I like the Scandinavian countries very much. We are often there for our hollidays. I like the forrests and the lakes and especially it is not soooooo hot in summer and the days are long. So I started to learn a little bit of the language. It has much in common with German and English, so I learned also something of the common history. It's fun, it's interesting.

I wonder why so many people want to learn Swedish? The only reason why I am doing it is because I like the country and a bunch of the metal bands I like are Swedish.

I like the sound of svenska, and I like some parts of Swedish culture. But my main reason is the music of the language, and sj-sound also :)
