My favourite Dutch resources. What are yours?
An astrik * Means that I highly recommend/use the material a lot. A dash - See notes involving price
My favourite for learning:
https://www.babbel.com/ * - (Must buy a subscription. Word of advice if you have an iPhone buy the subscription from the app. It's $19.99 for 3 months instead of $26.85. Don't know about Android.)
http://www.learndutch.org/ * - (Some free courses, but can upgrade for more)
https://www.taalthuis.com/ * - (Free, but can upgrade for more)
https://www.memrise.com/ * - (Free, but can upgrade for more styles of revision)
https://www.lingq.com/ * - (Free with the option to go premium)
Some other useful sites:
https://www.netinnederland.nl/en * (spoken in Dutch and optional English subtitles. Also has articles translated into Dutch and Arabic)
Some blogs (Tumblr based):
https://streeploos.tumblr.com/ (for quotes in Dutch)
http://gratis-boek.nl/ * (Free books in various categories)
If you have an amazon kindle or fire tablet, you can find 6,000+ Dutch ebooks in the foreign language category. If you set the price from lowest to highest, you will see hundreds of free books before you see ones that cost money. Many classics are available for free as well as some children's books.
What are your favourite resources? This was just my basic list that I could think of off the top of my head.
Hello Christine, it seems you have deleted your message about cooking, it was interesting.
"This cookbook is, along with the (New) Hague Cookbook by F.M. Stoll, one of the most famous Dutch standard cookbooks." (Source bol.com)
Don't worry about people who put negative points.
Thank you all for your informations.
I have deleted it because it got negative comments and downvotes. I'm just here to help, I don't need to learn Dutch. I'm also here waiting for the Czech course, but that seems to have been delayed.
Hello, yes I saw (I was answering to your message when everything was deleted).
Especially for the moment, there are many people putting negative appreciations(sometimes without real reason, just like that) but don't worry about it and don't forget there are other people interested in your comments.
Have a good day.
Wow, thank you for all the resources, I only knew half of them :)
Apart from what you posted I also use / have used:
