  5. What time of the day are most…

What time of the day are most Duolingo goers on?

I know there are certain points in the day, when barely nobody comments in discussions, or new ones are made. Then another point in the day when the discussion forum explodes with new discussions as well as comments. I would like to know if anyone has a good idea, not just by a guess, but by knowledge, on what time of the day most people are on, so I may plan future "things," that I would like people to see. Please provide the time zone you are referring to.

I observed 7-10pm British time although that is just my observations and could be very wrong

Thank you, Much obliged. All observations will go into careful consideration.

i'm mostly on on the weekends, because of school and my other activities I might not be on much for weekdays

I believe 1:00-3:00 PM, Eastern time zone. Especially on weekends.

8 am to 10 am Bangkok time

Thanks guys! Your answers are all somewhat close in time. My conclusion of when most are on:

12:30-1:30 a.m., Central time zone.

Night owl here! I usually get my points late at night. It is calming to just zone in and do timed practice on every skill for a good hour or two.

I don't know how it is now, but back in the day late morning and early afternoon (Central Time) were generally the busiest times for posting new discussions. If you post late at night there will be little to no activity, but then by the next morning your post will get buried by new posts and you will not get as much exposure.

My thoughts exactly! Thanks for the info.

Hello, fellow night owl!
