I thought there was a distinction between žít and bydlet and that in this case bydlet is most correct.

both are fine here

"Kateřina bydlet v tom domě nechce". Why is it not correct? MUST it be "bydlet nechce"?

I also said Kateřina nechce bydlet tam v tom domě...

What was the exact formulation (including blanks - spaces)? Was it accepted or not? It is good to report using "My answer should have been accepted."
