Der Die Das Ein Eine Einen

When do you use Der Die Das and Ein Eine and Einen?

September 6, 2017

Der, die and das are all definite articles (the) and ein, eine and einen are all indefinite articles (a, an) Der is used for masculine nouns, die for feminine and Das for neuter, ein for masculine and neuter and eine for feminine, and einen for masculine nouns in the accusative case (the object). There is also 'den' which is for masculine nouns in the accusative case too.
