[Mods: Sticky Please?] German Language Learning Resources
We need a sticky for the German (from English) forum listing out online resources. New learners either do not know the plethora of resources available online or request the same things repeatedly. I'm adding a few examples below (yes, I know not all of them have links, but bear with me), but obviously this can be substantially expanded with the help of the community and maintained so that dead links are replaced.

I did and one of the mods informed me that they are advised not to create additional stickies. So helpful as this might be to almost everyone here, I don't think it will be made sticky any time soon.
If anyone's asking for resources, though, I just direct them here. That seems to help people a bit.

Yeah, that's what I do, and hopefully it spreads the word out so eventually we won't get any more of these posts.
Though it is a real shame this can't be made a sticky. As much as I hope the efforts of the two of us posting this link like missionaries will solve the problem, the inevitability of:

The laziness of users who aren't willing to use the (admittedly pretty shoddy) built-in search bar, or simply search
site:duolingo.com German language resourcesinto Google.
Just means that although we are fighting the good fight, it is one where the odds are stacked heavily against us.
I don't think those posts are going to stop, which is why I requested this be sticky in the first place.
Sometimes I wonder at the logic of Duolingo; maybe they are too proud to link to other sites. And I never underestimate the laziness or ignorance of the masses. :P
The Swedish course actually has a sticky and I think every course ought to have one for resources. But thanks for directing people come by here so they can benefit from our collective efforts.

Ich würde erraten, dass fast keiner, der eine deutsche Flagge hinter seinem Namen hat, ist Muttersprachler. Ich schätze einfach ein, dass jemand, der sich auf einer deutschen Kurs-Diskussion befindet, aber keine deutsche Flagge hat, Muttersprachler ist. Ich weiß ja auch, dass es einige Leute gibt (wie du :), die eine deutsche Flagge "tragen", die aber dennoch Muttersprachler sind. Genauso umgekehrt :)
Es reicht im Übrigen, wenn Du nur "Muttersprachler/in" schreibst, wenn Du die fehlende deutsche Flagge erwähnst (alternativ auch einfach: Deutsche/r).

Übrigens: jeder, der wie ich den "Reverse Course" macht ("Sprachkurs mit umgekehrter Sprachrichtung" klingt etwas zäh) erhält seine Landesfarbe als Zeichen des Erfolges in der gewählten Sprache.

Maybe you want to add a site for beginners in german. These are a sites with news for children. Easier language for the start but good journalism in the content. Perhaps you want to have a look.

One comment about one of the "News Sites":
bild.de - first it isn't called "Das Bild", it's only "Bild" and second: Why does it have to be on this list?
I mean, having resources to learn a language is always great! But this "newspaper" is imho the worst kind of journalism there is (I'm a German native). It's only "sensational journalism" at best.
As a language learner I wouldn't want to read such things even in my target language - there are much better things out there :-)
Thanks for pointing it out. I've clarified it is a tabloid. It was added by suggestion from the user above. I understand it is a tabloid and that you do not favor it, but if someone is learning a language and gossip or sensationalist stuff is what they want to read, then the link is available to them with due warning. :)
