    It could be used, for example, if a particular goat had been discussed earlier, or if you have a goat and suddenly there it is sleeping on your books. Since we don't have that background, "a" is more natural. But I will add "the" if the Czech natives on the team feel it would be okay here.

    To jde jen v případě, že je to nějaká konkrétní koza, kterou máme doma a běžně jí říkáme jen koza. Dej koze jídlo. Vem kozu na pastvu. I tak bychom to často řekli česky jinak.

    Pokud jsem překvapen, že je vůbec na mých knihách nějaká koza, pak tam musí být "a goat".
