Dhá Phodchraoladh Nua - two new Podcasts
Motherfoclóir is a new podcast hosted by the person behind the @TheIrishFor twitter account. It's an English language podcast discussing things about the Irish language, and of concern to Irish speakers. The topics covered to date include the role of the letter "V" in Irish, Google Translate and Irish, and Surnames and Hernames (!)
(The book of the same name also came out today)
Beo, ar éigean is a podcast in Irish from RTÉ, with Siún Ní Dhuinn, Sinéad Ní Uallacháin and Áine Ní Bhreisleáin. Everything from Disney movies to death, makeup to dancing on the tables in the club at Conradh na Gaeilge.
It's from RTE, so good luck finding it if you don't use iTunes - RTE won't publish a direct link, and have even managed to geoblock the most recent episodes on their own website. https://www.rte.ie/gaeilge/2017/0705/887879-beo-ar-eigean-podchraoladh-nua-i-ngaeilge-tagtha-ar-an-saol/
