What is the difference between idę and jadę? Also, would jeżdże be correct? Thank you!

"idę" is on foot. "jadę" is by vehicle (for land transportation).

"jeżdżę" is habitual, so it would be used in sentences like "I always go to school by train". Not for 'right now'.

Well, it means "I am going in a train". And I don't know about English, but it seems like a rather risky construction in Polish. Perhaps someone can indeed say it - but it sounds strange. And it opens the joking interpretation of "I am riding a bicycle through the corridors of the moving train" ;)
