"Van maandag tot en met vrijdag"
Translation:From Monday to Friday
I think this is a great little phrase, very memorable - much less clunky than 'up to and including' and more precise that 'from...to'
Given the temporal context, would it not be preferable to begin the sentence with vanaf rather than with van. or is there not a preference? Thanks.
Confused, why we can say " Van Maandag tot vriedag" its the same mean i guess
I can't see what's different in your answer from the given one, I agree. But if you look at what Simius posted you can see the the 'including' element is important - not sure why this wasn't in the 'correct' answer above.
I think that until Friday doesn't necessarily include Friday. I wonder if Duo accepts "Monday through Friday."
How common is this saying? And is it any different and more or less common than saying "Van maandag tot aan vrijdag" or just "tot vrijdag"?
I saw this saying written quite often on advertisements when I was in the Netherlands (t/m as noted by Simius).
