Its funny that the vertical part of ㅗ in '꽂' looks like the little dash above 'ㅊ' if you don't look really closely

Apparently it's from 꽂다 meaning 'insert' I guess we'd say in English. You insert a book into the space between other books on the shelf.

책꽂이 = small bookcase, bookrack, bookshelf (?)

책선반 = bookshelf
