Am I the only one who finds the English translation too unnatural?

Why do they use both 너무 and 많이 in this sentence? Couldn't they just use 너무? Thanks in advance.
너무 많이 is fine. it is commonly used when you want to express huge amount or exaggerate
We also say stuff like 'way too much'
He is probably at 사우나 right now.
Could it mean "he gets too much flak" (e.g. from his boss)?
