"v tomto časopise není nic číst" should be accepted

No. It is pretty close but to make it correct we need "V tomto časopise není nic ke čtení" or "..na čtení" if you want to use "nic".

Použil jsem: V tomto časopise není nic ke čtení. A neuznalo mi to..

Vy jste (podle reportu) použil "v tom" a my potřebujeme "v tomto". Ale nic ke čtení jsem přidal.

To jsem použil poprvé a použil ten report pak mi teda došlo, že to byla chyba, ale podruhé jsem zkusil i s tím "v tomto" a to mi právě také nevzalo..

Would "V tomto časopise nemá co číst" be correct as well?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/VladaFu

No. This is specifically telling that there is nothing to read there FOR HIM or FOR HER. "(On/Ona) nemá ..."

Thank you, I confused it with Ukrainian where "nemá" means "there isn't"
