Me: I've been taking classes for years but right now I'm not able to walk because I hurted my knee, so i won't be taking classes this semester. Although I'm hurt, I still need to practice. So here i am.

I'm into languages, I mean, I'd love to be a polygot down the road.(Pretty hard path, by the way) I don't have a real reason for the languages I've chosen, you know. It's probably because of music: K-pop, J-pop, I want to understand and feel the songs, not searching the lyrics translation. That's it. I'm using duolingo just to get in touch with the language every day. And I hope you get well soon, girl. Let's give it our bests to learn them all.

I understand you! I want to be able to watch movies and tv shows (my favorite hobbie) without the need of subtitles in portuguese, mainly because a lot of jokes get lost in the translation. Like you said, I want to feel it. It's a hard road, but we will make it! And thank you so much, I'm getting better!

I've been learning English for professional purposes, later on I started to learn other languages in my leisure time. By learning a new language I can read books/news and watch series/tv in their original language, talk to people around the world and feel more connected with them. When I found Duolingo I had completed two years of studying English, back then my English was much worse, my favorite activity on this website was Imersion, unfortunately it was removed. But I keep coming here because the Duolingo community was very helpful on my improvement. I got so many tips from its users and I can't thank them enough.

Sorry to hear about your injure, I hope you get well soon. Best wishes.

I love the hugobertos too. This canal remind me the world of beakman. I used to watch this show when I was a kid. If you like this kind of video I can indicate orther: Nerdologia, blablalogia, slow, crashcource, in a nutshell (In my opinion is the best canal of youtube). All of them talk about science and philosophy.

Hello Julia I'm here since 2015. I really do not remember how I've found out Duolingo LOL!... In the begin I started studying English so hard every single day I was there working hard to get it. And then It was not a rocket science as I thought. Now when I look behind it is a kind of funny cause I remember me thinking in give up thoughts, and always asking to myself it cannot be possible to a person to learn a language by Internet, Apps ,Youtube these stuff you know... can it be possible ? Well Now surely I DO confirm you can learn whatever you want everything depens on yourself.

Now I'm able to use English as writting as speaking. I like watching ,Netflix Series I now understand 90% spoken. This way I figure out expressions, Phrasal verbs you know... speaking of it it looks that never ends LOL!!

What I'm doing here now is focused on studies of Hebrew and French two important ones for me. Hebrew sounds amazingly to my ears, French I really do not why I'm doing xD.

What've motivated me much was some Polyglots that I've known on Youtube such as" Lucas Lamparilio, Matthew Youlden others who I do not remember for now.

And then this is a bit of process language learnin' mine.

Hey Tiago! Like i said, I've been taking classes for years but netflix taught me a lot of things that any course ever taught, like real listening and vocabulary. In all these years, Internet was my best allied. Right now I'm studying english and spanish, but I also want to learn another languages like esperanto. I don't really know why. I guess the more, the better.

I'm here trying to find some way to keep practicing my English .. I'm a Engineer and it's almost obligatory to speak English to find a decent job in my area. Since I came back from Canada (I've lived there for a while), I haven't studied, so I hope I can find someone to help me out here in duolingo! :)
