Duolingo is the most popular way to learn languages in the world. Best of all, it's 100% free!

Family

If the "Family 1 & 2" are ever updated, it would be good to include uncle, aunt and cousin. It would also be good to include the Welsh word for "family".

That's all done, we're just waiting for Duolingo to press the switch to make the new course available.

Wow, I didn't know Tree 2.0 was so close to release! Diolch yn fawr!

Wow! That's cool to know. How exactly does that sort of situation work for the users? I'm about 2/3 of the way through the Welsh tree, so do the changes automatically intermingle with what I have completed? Just curious about what to expect. I've never used a tree that actively had a 2.0 update or however they refer to it.

With the Dutch 2.0 update, it intermingled with what I had already completed. It added a few skills, and made some of my completed skills become incomplete with new words and lessons added. If you get the owl before the 2.0 release, you will need to complete incomplete and new skills before you get the owl back.

Although from the comments of other teams the process of releasing and A/B testing can a long one.
