Is there any reason to why it is "ở trong" rather than just "ở"?

"ở" meaning "at or at location". In Vietnamese you have to express "at location"+"in/out/beside/behind/front/under/above".

ở = at, but ở trong = in (not a native speaker here)

The water s inside the bottle so its Ở Trong.

'Inside' not accepted.

"there is some water in this bottle" should have been accepted...

Why they use "in" and not "inside"? In is so confusing
