Is there a difference between saying "Der Kampf beginnt" and "Der Kampf fängt an"?
Der Kampf beginnt
Der Kampf fängt an
Der Kamp startet
These should all be accepted as they all have the same meaning.
What is the different between kampf and krieg?
Der Kampf - the battle
Der Krief - the war
A war can consist of many battles.
Why wouldn't "Der Krieg beginnt." Not be accepted? Does German make that big of a distinction between a war and a battle?
