Why do we use 있나요 instead of 있어요 here?

-나요 is a question ending used to soften your sentence. It just makes it sound a little more humble/polite rather than straight-up using "있어요?" can sound a bit aggressive.

What form is this? Have we learned this? On this verb site, it gives the following for interrogative forms for 있다:

있어 (informal low)

있어요 (informal high)

있니 (formal low)

있습니까 (formal high)

Phone is the same as telephone.

In an earlier lesson (Written), telephone was given as 전화. Can someone explain why we have 전화기?

전화기 is 電話幾 in Chinese.the 기 part is equivalent to the Chinese 幾 which means machine.you won't hear people use this much probably because it's as redundant as saying phone machine instead of simply saying phone.
