Translation:There is a turtle swimming in the water.
Why is "There swims a turtle in the water" not a correct answer? Isn't that the literal translation?
Sometimes Duolingo is just ridiculous and policing me incorrectly on how to use my perfectly fluent mother tongue.....
I deliberately wrote a tortoise swims in the water. Which is correct if a somewhat impracticable event. I understand from Dutch friends that the Dutch sentence should state 'een water schildpad' to make sense when translated into English.
