Downloading Tinycards decks for offline use?

If there is a way to do this, I haven't found it yet. Offline use is a feature that I am sorely missing; I've found that I can get a lot of studying done in the car on the way to school so I would really love it if this feature were to be considered.

On iOS this happens automatically. There is no explicit download feature, like a download button, or whatever.

When I tested it, some months back, text and graphics came down as soon as you started using the deck. Favouriting was not enough, but reviewing the complete set of cards was.

Audio came down as you did the lessons. So if you did new lessons offline, they would be without audio.

I assume it is the same on Android, but I have no evidence either way.

On the Android version, it only works with a lesson that you happen to have opened before going offline. Plus, if the lesson was closed then it won't open again until internet access is restored. I would second the OP's suggestion as a sorely missed feature. It would be immensely useful if the app can allow the user to download a custom selection of lessons for offline use.

Duolingo, please make it happen!!

Agreed. Would love this.

Now if you star/favorite/save each set - basics 1, phrases, numbers, etc. - you have offine access.

Unfortunately it doesn't work all the time You've to finish the deck for the first time and even then some images may not show sometimes :(
