Like any country, it depends on your location within the country. Seoul is a thriving metropolis, but there are parks and temples where one can find peace and quiet. Interesting that we all took time away from quiet study to make some "noise" on this page.

Am I the only one who thinks Seoul is very quiet? Especially compared to China and Japan. Japan is notoriously noisy since noisy children are crying everywhere.

Is 조용합니까 also acceptable?

Why is "Is Korea silent" not accepted?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/rowill88

Silent and quiet are not the same thing.

Why is it a question? Because the audio sounds more like a statement.
