my answer was corrected to "Ale neptáme se tvé dívky. ." (note the extra period). Shouldn't the 'se' be in second position?

It normally is in the second position but conjunctions do not seem to count.

Why not "Ale se neptáme tvé holky"?

Second position rule for "se". The "ale" does not count.

Ale neptámE se tvé holky.

neptám = I am not asking

neptáme = we are not asking

That said we did not have that syntax so I have edited it.

Hint over the "asking" shows only "neptáme se". But in suggested answer it showed me "nezvéme". I think it should be added to the hint too.

what is the difference between "nezvéme" and "neptame se"?

I think most close translations should be something like this: "zvát = to call", "ptát se = to ask".
