Polish TV Channels in the US: Sling TV now carries Polish

For those in the US interested in getting Polish TV channels. there seems to be a new(ish) option. My cable company has offered Polish TV for years, but I was never interested in paying high US cable prices. I had subscribed to Dish for my parents, but to get the international channels two dishes had to be mounted on their house. I live in a multi-unit building so this was not an option for me.

Anyway, I just noticed that Sling now offers 2 levels of Polish TV channels, one at 20 USD and one at 30. Don’t get too excited - the channel line-ups aren’t great. But if you are interested in just having something to watch and perhaps improve your language skills with, maybe you want to have a look. It’s month-to-month, cancel anytime, so they say.

I’m piping mine through a Roku box into my TV. Picture quality is acceptable, but not great. I have a 30 MBps internet connection, so I don’t know if the picture would be better if you have faster internet. If you are not technically inclined, it's very easy to do. So far I am satisfied and I will keep it for a while, although I would definitely appreciate more or better channels.

If anyone has experience with alternatives, such as viewing Polish TV via a VPN/proxy server or using something like Telewizjada, I’d love to hear about it.
