My first Czech poem
I wrote my first poem with my limited knowledge of Czech language. I hope I'll inspire some of you to express yourselves too in the comments! :D
Jste dobré děti,
Nebo jste staré ženy?
Nejste, ale jste stroje!"
Fun fact: Vaclav Havel (ex-Czech president) was also a poet & playwright. He was an extremely interesting guy, and some of his poetry can even be read by beginners in Czech. Totally worth looking up.
Glad you are having fun :-) If you come up with any one-liners using only the words in the course, we can consider adding them. For example, the Spanish course has Los bancos son blancos., and I added Matěji, proč tě holky nechtějí? (Matěj, why don't girls want you?) here in Czech.
Hey man, pretty good. If you like Czech, after this do the polish course my dude. A couple of lingots for your troubles
"Are you big (men), Are you small (women), Are you good children, Or old ladies? No, you are not, but you are machines!"
Initially I wanted to say "you are nothing but machines" but I don't know how "nothing" is said and I wanted to use only the words I learned :D
Come on, just for fun! It doesn't have to make much sense (like poetry usually doesn't), haha :D
Congratulation! Here you have a few lingots for your effort from one Czech colleague.
Dobře! Musíš pokračovat a psát nějakou novou báseň! ;)
