The English of this makes no sense at all.


They were clearly aiming for "If we didn't try to cook, we wouldn't be able" ... but yeah, pretty far off ... and also, it annoys me when there's no context ... able to do what??? Able to cook? Then there should be another "to" at the end of the sentence.
