how do i know what level i am on? How do I know how far i am to the next level?

Go on your profile and it'll tell you how much XP is left until the next level. But level 25 is the highest level you can achieve; after that, there's no level.

Thank you. I have already reached 25, and that is why I asked. No matter what I do, I can't get past 50% proficiency, so I wondered it I reached another level, if I would be able to go beyond 50%.

In some of the shorter courses (like Spanish) it is very hard to go beyond the low fifties. However, in some of the English courses you can get to the low seventies.

As the legend on these forums goes, the maximum proficiency for (at least, old) languages is 50% for 'easier' languages like Spanish and 60% for some 'harder' like German.
