¡Finalmente terminé mi árbol español!
Well, 2 and a half years ago after a trip to Spain not knowing more than the words 'Gracias' and 'Hola', I have finally finished my Spanish tree!
Just in time for yet another trip over to España where I managed to talk a lot more Spanish than I would have thought, even understanding a native speaker in a water park telling me where the lockers were in VERY fast Spanish!
I've dabbled around with other resources online, but Duolingo has primarily been the driving force. Thanks to anyone who's written a discussion post explaining grammar etc, or to anyone who's answered questions based on the skill questions, they are invaluable in understanding why wrong answers are wrong!
Now to Danish for the Denmark trip in December!
Muchísimas gracias! Was a long time coming, and still a lot of work to do!
ENHORABUENA! Gracias por compartiendo esta entrada.
I've heard from a number of intermediate - advanced Spanish learners that the spoken language is very fast. You have to get used to hearing them speak.
Gracias! Yea they speak very quickly, and the regional accents can trick you into missing words you know as well. I found it helps to try and almost ignore what they're saying and try to grab a few key words from the sentence, then you can usually get the context from that. Failing that just ask them to repeat it a little more slowly lol
Te felicito! Yo no entiendo a los españoles a veces, de verdad hablan rapidísimo!
