My dad knows french, and I thought, why shouldn't I? Duolingo was recommended to me by my family, and I have had fun playing with vocabulary, and building streaks. I can see my progress easily, and it is just naturally fun to learn a new language. I think duolingo is an amazing thing, and I hope that many other people learn about it and enjoy it just as I have. Anybody learning French can talk here, but i am about a universe away from fluent, but I know some of the basics!
Wow, I can see @prenom Pierre that you are learning several languages!
You will see that someones have twenty or twenty five flags, I am still a dwarf compared to these giants.
i am not that good at french as you can see but i would love to ... i love this app a lot and can you follow me
I have to admit, I've always been skeptical about this kind of Skinner-box online learning aids, but duolingo has managed to charm me. Still very much at the beginner stage, but I'm going to take it all the way with French, at least, just to see how effective the approach will prove. Hope it works well for you!
So, anyone know an idiom equivalent to 'in the same boat'? I'm guessing 'être dans le même bateau' would be too easy. :)

Salut! this is my third year taking french and I would love to find more people learning the language
