sigh why do i keep getting word order sentences wrong..? Does writing 'How different are beef and pork?' Really change the sentence? Can someone write that in korean so i can compare to the question answer... if that makes sense?
"How different" would be asking to what degree beef and pork are different. That's different from asking in what way they are different, which is what the Korean sentence is asking.
I think that might be like "소고기와 돼지고기는 얼마나 다릅니까?" 얼마나 being "how much". But I'm not completely sure.
...You think that's bad, I just got "How are pork and beef different?" wrong, and that does not change the sentence at all, and includes the correct words.
I said "How are pork and beef different?" and it said it was wrong, ouch.
"How different are beef and pork" and "How are beef and pork different"........ hiw are these two not have the same meaning??
I know i should be asking abt korean but..
One is... "How does that situation exist?" The other is "How do they compare?"
"How are pork and beef different" will be 돼지고기와 소고기는 어떻게 다릅니까? 어떻게 being how. Pork is from pigs and beef is from cows would be a suitable answer. Therefore this is comparing the differences of the two, while " how different are pork and beef" would be 돼지고기와 소고기는 얼마나 다릅니까? In this case, we are asking how big is there a difference. For example if we say 돼지고기와 소고기는 무척 다릅니다 that is a answer to the question. i know that this explanation is terrible.
