Don’t know if it is just me but I cannot hear either of the ‘the’ in these. It just sounds like ‘A horse enjoys eating green grass’

The 'r is definitely there. It will be more obvious if you choose the slower option by clicking the tortoise icon.

I agree. It is said properly, and I don't know how clear it would be said when you converse with someone. I think your listener will fill in the gaps when they listen to you. It's just a matter of applying the rules, and that's where I'm still learning. I may have errors on here, but when I am confident enough to chat in Welsh, it may not be so much of a problem.
