Troubleshooting after last update

Hi there, I am having troubles with duolingo after the last update. I start the lesson and after 3 answer duolingo closes in my tablet (iPad old one), does anyone is having the same problem? I am afraid I will lose my days! Please help, thanks

    I have the same problems since the last update with my ipad 2. Always when i start a lesson and i have to speak in the exercise the app closes :-(

    Then try to disable in your settings the microphone (OFF).

    It did not work and am still having the closing app after 3 answers...if anyone can help, please do!
