"marvellous" wäre auf englisch auch noch passend, allerdings weiss ich nicht, ob das heute noch gebräuchlich ist. Wir ändern ja den Gebrauch von Adjektiven im Laufe der Jahre. Das was heute "geil" ist, war in den 70er Jahren "dufte". Dieses Wort kennt heutzutage fast niemand mehr.
