I guess it wasn't to her taste, so throwing was the only other option? People have complicated relationships with beds in Korea.
I like the sense of humor, but the nonsensical nature of this answer had me second guessing myself.
since its all 저, I put "That woman over there throws that bed over there in that direction over there." It worked, but now I feel silly.
I think that you misunderstand; the statement is not referring to a Western-style bed. The bed is a traditional "yo" which is like a double layered blanket similar to an old-fashioned feather bed which is unfolded and thrown/placed onto the floor at night or whenever one takes a nap. When one get out of "bed" , the bed is folded and put away in a closet until it is needed again. Sleeping on a "yo" on the floor is very comfortable and allows the bedroom to be much smaller than if one uses a Western-style bed. The modern day Murphy bed serves a similar purpose in some homes in the U. S. A.
I was about to comment about how this didn't make sense and I don't get how one can physically throw a bed... Until I remembered I've seen in k dramas that people commonly use sleeping mats there and I felt silly
A "guest" is a visitor to someone's home, etc.. Did you mean "guess"? Also, one can assume this is not a Western-style bed.
