How can I remember how to spell things?

I have to do spelling test at school on some adjectives, but I don't know how to remember them. Do you have any tips.

Write the words out three times on a piece of paper with a pencil (I find pencils work better than pens for this.) Then recite the right spelling three times out loud confidently. :) Hope this helps!

I agree, plus, really LOOK at the words when they are written properly (not letter for letter, but overall), for several seconds. You can develop a mental picture. Once you write it out, look carefully and see if it "looks right". Even if you aren't 100% sure, you might notice when the word is a little off of where it should be.
(This works the best for people who learn visually, but I think it can help anyone. My son uses this for his spelling tests and it helps him a lot.)

Quizlet is pretty helpful with that. It's a flashcard system. Anki is also great, but Quizlet would be faster to setup and use. I find it great for vocabulary and spelling.

Hi Flapster :) If you search for this topic instead of making a discussion, you will find your answer a lot quicker ;) Here is a discussions on that topic just from 3 hours ago. https://www.duolingo.com/comment/24722053

I took German in college, and my teacher was constantly singing grammar songs. As silly as it seemed at first, it worked! I still get some of them stuck in my head sometimes. Ack! ;)

I don't know if this would work for you, but it helps me if I continuosally (I know; I spelled it wrong) write the words and verbally spell it out the same time. Also I try to think up little memory games like " these 3 letters are in alphabetical order " or such. I hope you do well and let me know if you need anything else!

It's ok if you spelled it wrong :) I don't think anyone is going to care, but if you want to know the right way, it's Continuously.
