Who can help me?
I want to know some videos(for beginners) to improve my Romanian listening))
Hello! I would like to help you. I was in the same situation as you and basically I want to give you what helped me with my Romanian.
The first thing that will help you with your Romanian listening skills is a channel I discovered called Romanianpod101. This is probably the best thing you will find that focuses on Romanian listening. The reason for this is because their lessons are constructed in a story like way, that will allow you to answer a question just by listening to a Romanian speaker. They also have cool lessons besides listening; like reading, speaking, basic words or phrases, etc. Here is a link to their channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAsZIdD5sox9lM5nO4MPGyA/playlists
Another channel I found is LearnRomanianWithNico. She is a native Romanian speak that teaches you a lot of Romanian words/phrases and grammar. The cool thing with her is she makes these cool little short "films" in Romanian and you have to just listen and try to understand. She does have subtitles but they are in Romanian and English but that's only to help you. Here is the link to her channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzKrAcUGNwkSMOhLgNuQAwg/playlists
Now the next thing I want to share isn't a course or anything just some basic tips on what you can do.
- The first thing is listen to some Romanian music! I made a discussion about my top ten favorite songs in Romanian and maybe that will get you started to listening to some good Romanian music. https://www.duolingo.com/comment/22789195
- The second thing you can do is listen to a Romanian radio station. This one is tough because sometimes they can talk pretty fast so you might have a hard time understanding but that's the whole point right? Here is a link to some Romanian radio stations: http://www.101languages.net/romanian/romanian-radio/
- The last thing you can do is watch Romanian movies! I personally like to watch movies I've seen in English like Disney movies for example but dubbed in Romanian. I also made a discussion on this subject matter: https://www.duolingo.com/comment/23074603 Also, this goes along side with watching movies is watch Romanian News. ProTV is the main news channel in Romania. Here is an example of Romanian news: https://youtu.be/4gidFHeJo1A
Anyways, I hope this helps you!
In one of the topics I've seen, that someone asked for the romanian book and also wrote, that to improve listening he's watching "Peppa pig" on youtube (in romanian). I hope it may help you, at least a bit :)
Singers often adjust their voice when sings. It is hard for beginners to understand the lyrics. Some songs have a slow pitch and are more easy to be understood.
TV channels for news may be a better option because they don't use dialects and speak with a moderate speed.
And the best option is to have a close friend whose native language is Romanian :)
Pe Youtube de asemenea pot fi diferite video-uri interesante sau reportaje create de video blogeri români.
