Swahili Audio

In the course status page for Swahili (https://incubator.duolingo.com/courses/sw/en/status) there was a post 4 months ago saying that audio was going up in the next week or so, but I don't have any audio on my Swahili course?

Just wondering if this was a problem with my account, or if no one has audio yet. Also, if no one has audio, if anyone knows when the audio is going to be integrated in the course?

Thanks! :)

No audio here either and I've been waiting for months. Would have preferred if it wasn't released unless there was audio since it's not as useful for me yet.

There are several posts about audio already. Long and short of it is that the audio is ready but not yet implemented.

The Swahili team haven't been active in a while (possibly busy with Peace Corps stuff). They may or may not think Duo has already implemented the sound, as they seem to think it is site admin's job. Whether that is true or not, fact remains no one has done anything about it since the post was made, and it doesn't seem likely that they will for a while yet.

Glad someone put this problem. I wondered about it too. I hope they will implement audio too soon...:(

I don't have audio... There haven't been any announcements on the Swahili course in a very long time, so the course is probably going to be an eternal beta.

Before posting a new thread, a look at what's already here. Look first before you post. It's basic forum etiquette.

Don't be so quick to blame users for things like this, Sound was promised months ago and they have said nothing at all. It's not surprising that a lot of users will want to express concern.
