Your favorite color in the language you're learning! ;)
I am learning Spanish and French, so my favorite color is bebe azul in Spanish. In French it is bebe bleu. What about you?
Purpura, azul, verdo, cafe, blanco, ❤❤❤❤❤, amarillo, rojo, gris, rosa...I like them all! The only color I don't like is naranja.
Greek: Μωβ (Mov)
Chinese Mandarin: 紫色 (Zǐsè)
Oranje - also happens to be the national kleur of Nederland, what a match :D
Katie, just a reminder that both Spanish and French use adjectives after the noun they describe. "Azul bebe" and "Bleu bébé" are the correct way to say it. Sometimes the adjectives are used before the noun but the meaning changes, for example "Un día grande" means "A long day", "Un gran día" means "A great day".
My favorite color is also blue but the regular one:
Azul = Blue in Spanish and also Portuguese (my native language);
Blu/Azurro = Blue in Italian;
Modré = Blue in Czech;
青, あお or Ao = Blue in Japanese (Kanji, Hiragana and Romaji scripts).
Hello, as a native French speaker I've never heard of the color "bébé bleu" nor "bleu bébé" I guess you mean "Bleu ciel" (more common, it means blue sky) or "Bleu layette".
To answer you, my favorite color is green, the color of hope.
In Polish it is "Zielony" the word sounds beautiful to my ears.
In Japanese it's "緑" pronounced "Midori"
In Dutch it's "Groen", just replace an "e" from "green" by a "o", easy to remember.
In Greek it's "πράσινο " pronounced "Prasino" I find the word beautiful too, I hope later having more time to focus on the Greek language.
French: bleu Japanese: 青い
I should mention that although I haven't started Japanese on duolingo yet (I will when it's available on the website), I lived in Japan for 11 years.
I've noticed that I'm not the only one who has the blue as a favorite color, but I've a crush on black too.
