Please restore my streak, didn't miss a day and had a streak freeze

Disapeard yesterday and i have not had a break in use and had a streak freeze please help i was on 208. :-(

Just lost mine - I was at 190. Not a happy camper. In the broader scheme of things it's not that much but I feel robbed. It wasn't a time thing - I completed my lessons in the morning; somehow the lessons I completed on my cellphone didn't get credit.

If you can proof that ......

  • your streak freeze was equipped the day before
  • AND you reached your daily XP goal yesterday before midnight in your time zone
  • AND all of your results were synchronized with Duolingo's servers before midnight in your time zone

.... then you can send a bug report to Duolingo's staff


Maybe you can buy back your streak via the store in the App, because your extended profile shows at the moment:

"streak 206,"is available for repair":true
"last reached goal":"days ago":3

But don't wait too lang, because this offer will end soon (I don't know how long it will last)

Losing a streak is a common complaint from people, who .......

  • use the Duolingo App
  • use an outdated operating system or an outdated browser
  • switch time zone

Workaround for the App
Always check if your phone/tablet had synchronised with the Duolingo servers after doing a lesson. Sometimes it can take 5-10 minutes after finishing a lesson in the App.

  • have Duolingo's web version always open in the browser of your phone/tablet
  • set this browser in Desktop mode
    (maybe not possible in an iOS phone with a small screen)
  • refresh your browser after each lesson in the App, and check if the amount of XP increased in Duolingo's web version.

  • Check every day if your streek freeze is still equipped.

  • Attention:
    A streak freeze starts protecting on the day after its purchase:
    it's only an insurance for the future, it's not a free pass for the same day!

Same problem. I lost my streak for no reason. As the log, I do not exceed my goal, but I always do. Somehow they do not count my last practice so I only got 40XP. The second problem is that I equip my freezer but when it is activated, there no notification like before. This happened on Monday, they said that I only got 35XP, so I lost my freezer that time. And then the next day, they said that I only got 45XP, that the time when I lost my streak. What the hell is going on? I try to figure it out so I equip the freezer one more time and this time do only 50XP. Same problem happen, the freezer was activated without any notification. And I lost my streak once again. Really annoying. And can prove it since I keep the screenshots. But what happen to the other people who can't prove it? Though streak is just the number, but it also the proof of my effort. Lost it makes me feel really bad.
