"Our family went on vacation to the Veluwe every summer."
Translation:Ons gezin ging elke zomer op vakantie naar de Veluwe.
I wrote "Onze familie ging iedere zomer naar de Veluwe op vakantie", which was marked as incorrect. I'm not sure if it is "familie", "iedere" or the placement of "op vakantie" that made the sentence wrong. Can anyone explain?
Actually, all those words are correct! It's indeed the word order that marked you wrong. 'Op vakantie' should be placed between 'elke zomer' and 'naar de Veluwe'. However, I think your sentence might be correct as well (at least in spoken language it is), so I'll check if it is the same for written language. :)
