"Eu não gosto de cidades grandes."

Translation:I dislike big cities.

I picked: I do not like big cities. Both those answers should be accepted mandatory

When that happens, the best thing to be done in reporting on "my answer should be accepted"

March 13, 2013

I did report it, but since it was a multiple choice question, there was no option for "my answer should be accepted"

Ohhh what a pity...that's bad

Fyi, that sounded like sarcasm, even though I don't think you would stoop so low. Probably just a difference in culture and translation. I think it might be the use of "too" mixed with the "what a pity" that makes it sound sarcastic to me, but I'm not sure. Just letting you know.

Either way, there is an "other" option where you can write in the answer you think is correct or explain. At least, that's what I've been using it for.

Ohhh I never meant to be sarcastic at all. In the past it lacked functions on this website and she could not even let the team know her answer was right too =/ so she lost a heart. That's why I said "what a pity" since she did not deserve it! Anyway, I let the "too" out now =)

I agree. As a matter of fact, I think "I do not like big cities" should be the correct answer. Weird.

Both options should are viable here. I dislike and I do not like are simular

In a previous answer cidade was the translation for "town". But i don't like big towns was marked wrong. Why?
