Don't give up
I want to share a word of encouragement. A couple weeks ago, I was feeling a bit down about my progress on Duolingo. I almost thought about giving up, but I want to learn Italian so badly, so I forced myself to keep going and now I am glad I did. Just this week I decided to go back and practice my verbs and much to my surprise, I was able to do the lessons very well. I still have a long way to go, but now it feels like I am ready to learn more Italian.

I've been happy with my progress lately. I've stalled in my language tree for a good 2 and a half weeks now, but I've been strengthening my vocabulary using Anki and Quizlet, along with improving my listening comprehension with Destinos, a Spanish learning video series.
I might be in my own little bubble, but I'm still happy that I'm able to start piecing together more vocab with what Duolingo has taught me.
So I'm glad you're doing good, too. I'd just say you shouldn't give up, either, and just take things a day at a time in easy steps. :3

You should be very proud of yourself for pushing even though you didn't want to. Not long ago, I felt the same way. Now, I am on my 44 day-streak. I never dreamed that I would make it to that! I know it is not that much compared to many, but to me, I am very proud. Every day I get on my computer and do a couple of lessons of Spanish. Even though I don't love it all the time, I push forward. You are right, "Never give up."
