I noticed that the layout of the Web-version of Duolingo has changed and that along with that the short (10 question-) lessons have disappeared... I think that's really a shame, this was what kept me coming back to Duolingo and what made me prefer the Web-version over the app. Now it's only long lessons with repeating questions, which makes it boring and makes the learning process longer. Am I the only one that feels this way or do people agree with me on this one?

A never had the (10 question-) lessons in the web version of Duolingo. Maybe it was a so-called A/B test, which now has ended.

Now it's only long lessons with repeating questions, which makes it boring and makes the learning process longer

A lesson is longer, but does not make longer your overall learning process .
I think, strengthening can be very boring if you do it in the Duolingo way. That's why I use the method in this link https://www.duolingo.com/comment/6176795/Best-Way-to-Make-Your-Tree-Turn-Gold-and-Stay-Gold

Hmm, I have done some new lessons and some repeats in the past 24 hours and have had short lessons. I have also had long ones. The different trees seem to have different distributions of length, but I also think lesson length is an object of ongoing testing. In fact, I think untimed reviews have recently gotten shorter; additional questions no longer seem to be added when you miss one.
