The forums feel more broken to me.

Recently, Duolingo did some maintenance on the forums. However, I can't help but feel the forums are more broken than they were before.

When you post a comment on someone's post, they don't get notified (or so I've heard).

There's a lot of other stuff I noticed, too, like sometimes a post's score doesn't look changed when you vote on it.

I know the staff are hard-working people, and they're probably very busy, but I hope these issues get fixed soon.

It's very broken. :'(

Here is the announcement from staff, and a lot of discussion about glitches. Staff have asked us to comment and report glitches here so if you notice something that hasn't been reported already, please do so:

Thanks. I told them about it. Hopefully the notifications bell gets fixed.

I partly agree with the fact that the maintenance is not so good, most of all because the written number of comments keep changing when there has actually been no change. For example, when there are 2 comments in one discussion, it would say there are none. This is very confusing in my opinion

They made it so when you respond to a post you are not automatically notified; you have you click 'follow discussion' to be notified. I have a love-hate relationship with that feature. I don't want to hear nonsense, but sometimes i forget and leave people hanging.

yeah, people have commented back to me and I don't find out about it unless I check the discussion but yeah, the staff have a lot to work and are busy
