Lingot Question

Is it possible to give lingots to someone that you are following? If I would just like to Give a lingot does it have to be on a discussion? Because it just doesn't seem right that you would just have to start a conversation to give a lingot to someone in particular.

Yes . And you don't have to start a discussion the person just needs to be on a discussion.
