Possible Mistake on Hiragana 4, or am I Just Doing it Wrong?

It was in one of the new English -> Japanese questions. I was asked to type きっぷ (Handakuten was copy-pasted, after a search for the actual character, which proved fruitless.) Is that correct, or is it actually きっく?If I'm in the wrong here-I am just learning-, can someone please tell me how to write ふ with handakuten?

What word are you trying to type?

きっぷ (Kippu) is ticket, I believe.

く makes the sound ku. ふ is hu. ぷ is pu.

Here is a discussion I created called: handakuten [ ゚] and dakuten [ ゙], and the little や、ゆ、よ, and つ (Unofficial Tips Notes): https://www.duolingo.com/comment/23501240

Maybe it will help?

when the handakuten is added to any h- character it changes it's to a p sound, so when typing it, you it the p then u keys on your keyboard.

Thanks! I was so confused over it!
