Yes, we can. However, I do not know if Duolingo will accept it.

I translated it as "efficacious" and was marked wrong, even though efficacious in my dictionary translates to "eficaz." I think they are obviously cognates.

''Es más pequeño'' puede traducirse como ''It is smaller'' o también como ''He is smaller''. Deben aclarar en español a que persona se refiere para obtener la traducción que escriben como correcta.

It's so small but so efficient .... why they didn't accept it ?

That would be "Es tan pequeño, pero tan eficaz."

Rather disappointed, I got this one correct but couldn't wait to see some clever discussion.... and nothing in 3-4 years!!!

David Dennison's favorite hotel room explanation. Used slightly more frequently than, "the water was cold." Also the main reason for NDA's (Non Disparagement Agreements).

Eficaz y eficiente are not synonyms, just like efficient and effective are not synonyms

Right, but it is confusing that "efficient" is listed as a translation when you mouse over "eficaz". Does anyone have an explanation of when to use "eficaz" as "efficient" and when not to?
