Tinycards for Hebrew verbs

Those Hebrew verbs need some extra help to learn. Starting with the tinycards for my Duolingo lesson extra tutorage.

Any comments or advice for the best tinycards decks?

I know people have a lot of praise for Memrise and I suppose it is better with the sound. I wonder if I should try that instead? Any thoughts, experience?

I agree completely. I have also run into a lot of frustration with nailing down the verbs, but I have some resources for you.

First, if you have not found the Memrise course created by Mazzorano, then I highly suggest you get into that. That is a fantastic course that pairs with the Duolingo course, and lets you study the sounds of individual words. I often run through a section on there multiple times before tackling the same section in Duolingo. Here is a link to the course: https://www.memrise.com/course/1031737/hebrew-duolingo/

But, even with how excellent the Memrise course is, there are some Duolingo areas that Mazzorano skipped. Unfortunately, verbs is one of those areas.

Looking into tinycards, there are decks that can be used for verbs, here is one for the "Present 1" verbs: https://tinycards.duolingo.com/decks/a0709278-55b2-4c12-9c7a-410728216daa

But...without sound or nikkud, it is really hard to know if you're learning them correctly.

Your best resource for hearing proper pronunciation is forvo.com, but it gets pretty tedious jumping over there all the time.

So, with my own mounting frustration, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I am working on a Memrise course as a companion to Mazzorano's. It will have the sections that were skipped in that course. The words will include nikkud and I am pulling audio from forvo (each item does credit the forvo contributor). I am still building the course, and I am still working my way through the Duolingo course, so I will expand the Memrise course as I make progress.

I'll give you the link to the course, but understand, it is still in the early stages of construction. It has direct objects and determiners and part of the Present 1 verbs finished, and things will be moving and changing as I continue to work on it. The link is: https://www.memrise.com/course/1675958/hebrew-duolingo-companion-to-mazzorano-course/

I hope something in here helps you out, בהצלחה!
