Does it seem to me, or does it sound louder as "t" the "d" end of "tijd" than the "t" end of "feest"? Does the same thing happen with other words? Can any native help me? Thanks in advance ;-)

RumsFelite - I am not a native Dutch speaker, but I feel like the intensity of the ending "t" sound is dependent on the the previous letters more than anything. In other words, in the word "feest" it sounds softer, mainly due to the long vowel sound and the "s".
