komisch vs lustig vs witzig
I always thought "komisch" was the same as "lustig" and "witzig"!
It probably can be used as the same but... we don't really do that, because we use komisch also like seltsam (strange). Das Essen schmeckt komisch = The food tastes strange. Ok watched the video now... eh, no, me as a native speaker would have realized that in this case komisch was meant funny. (the comment part)
Facelezz is right. 'komisch' can be used as funny but it can also mean odd, weird or strange. 'lustig' cheerfully hilarity also a person can be 'lustig' 'witzig' is funny or witty. But in real life we don't really care about these niceties. We take both terms interchangeably.

But the "funny" thing is - in school we learned komisch = lustig. This is what I love about Duolingo - correct information.
yes, you can. And if you want to emphasise it, you can say 'Du bist wirklich lustig!' 'Du bist echt lustig'
Sometimes in English we use the word funny in the context of something being odd or strange - this is pretty much what I understood the word komisch to mean. Funny in an odd or strange way.
